Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Banks, Van Dyke Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Bevil Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Saturday and after 1:00PM Sunday. He was born in Paris to the late Noah T. and Marie Evans Maupin. His wife was Donna Rae Gansner Maupin, she preceded May 18, 2004. Survived by a daughter: Tammy (Terry) Wells, Paris; son: Tracey (Melissia) Maupin, Paris; grandchildren: Breanna D. Maupin, Kaitie Maupin, Courtney (Joseph) Thomasson, Blair Peppers; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Thomasson; niece: Kelly Sanders-Kelley and nephew: Frank (Jan) Maupin. Preceded by a brother: Ralph F. Maupin, 1993. Jimmy was a member of the Van Dyke Church of Christ. He retired from TVA in New Johnsonville and Commercial Bank of Paris. He loved drag racing, tinkering with old cars, spending time with his family and especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
