Mr. James T. McCaslin Sr., age 78 of Paris passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Henry County Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and a graveside service will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery with burial of cremated remains to follow. James T. McCaslin was born June 10, 1939 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Tillie Tyree McCaslin and the late Lillian Alberta Terry McCaslin. On June 8, 1957 he married Pat McNutt McCaslin who survives in Paris, TN. James is also survived by one daughter: Sheliah (Keith) Watkins of Paris and one son: Ty (Deborah) McCaslin of Paris; one sister: Terryalin (Kenneth) Chapman of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren: Jesse McCaslin of Lebanon, TN; Josh (Heather) McCaslin of Paris; Keith Brown of Paris; and Justin (Krystal) Watkins of Paris; six great grandchildren: Kaylee, Kinley and Camilla McCaslin; and Abbey, Amelia, and Audrey Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to Mr. McCaslin's parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister: Bertie Lou Biddle; and two great grandchildren: Karla Marie Brown and Kayla Luann Brown. Mr. McCaslin was a member of the McDonald's Breakfast Club. He got his first motorcycle when he was 14 years old and he has been riding one ever since.
