Graveside service 2:30PM Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery in Paris with Rev. Paul Veazey officiating. Named as pallbearers are Michael McMinn, Kelvin Campbell, Ben Burns, Ian Campbell, Charles White, Travis Stills and Patrick Moss. Visitation 12:00 - 2:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. He was born in Humboldt to the late Lawrence Elvis and Myrta Mae O'Brien McMinn. On August 24, 1951 he married Patricia Ann Highfill McMinn, she preceded November 29, 2012. Survived by daughters: Stephanie (Charles) White, Knoxville, Laurie (Kelvin) Campbell, Oak Ridge; son: David (Martha) McMinn, Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren: Kelly (Ben) Burns, Michael (Caroline) McMinn, Rachel (Sam) Hensley, Staci (Travis) Stills, Lindsey Caldwell, Ian Caldwell; great-grandchildren: Blayne Hensley, Sierra, Gabriella and Alexia Stills. Preceded by a sister: Rena Moss. Mr. McMinn retired in 1986 as an accountant/auditor at TVA with 35 years of service. He enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting and reading. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, was a loving, dedicated husband, father and grandfather and regularly donated to charitable organizations.
