Mr. James E. Newlin, age 83 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Henry County Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and a memorial celebration of life will be planned for a later date. James E. Newlin was born September 11, 1937 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to the late Steve W. Newlin and the late Agnes Kelly Newlin. He is survived by his sons, John (Luz) Newlin of Belmont, California and Daniel James Newlin of Orlando, Florida; three grandchildren; a brother, Ray Newlin of Valparaiso, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Pat Newlin. Besides his parents, James is also preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Newlin and Bill Newlin. Mr. Newlin was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during the Lebanese crisis. James was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
