James Norton, Sr., age 91 of Paris, TN passed away at his residence Tuesday July 19, 2016.
Funeral service 11:00AM Friday, July 22, 2016 at Van Dyke Church of Christ with Bro. Roger Banks and Bro. John Dale officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Visitation after 10:30AM Friday until service time at Van Dyke Church of Christ.
He was born May 27, 1925 in Henry County, TN to the late John K. and Emma Bell Winsett Norton. On January 27, 1952 he married Evelyn Dale Norton, she survives, Paris, TN.
Survived by a daughter: Kathy (Dennis Falls) Norton, Knoxville, TN; son: Frank Norton, Brookfield, IL; grandchildren: Nicole Norton, Brian Falls, Natalie Falls, Brandon Falls; great-grandchildren: Katherine Jasionowski, Caylee Kirk, four nieces and one nephew.
Preceded by sisters: Ruby Hudson, Sarah Blackwood, Fleta Berry, Flora Bell Norton; brothers: John Clarence Norton and Clarence Norton.
