James Randall "Randy" Veazey was born on September 5th, 1954 in Henry County, Tennessee. His parents were James Gordon Veazey and Imogene Paschall Veazey. Randy died on Friday, June 26th, 2009 at the DeSota Hospital in South Haven, Mississippi. His funeral service will be at 1:00PM Monday at the Paris Community of Christ Church and burial will follow in Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on Monday. Randy is survived by his wife, Betty Bollinger Veazey and her children, Katy and Nathan Scammerhorn. His brother Stephen M. (Cathi) Veazey also survives. Randy has two nephews, Bryce H. Veazey and Brady W. Cackler. One niece, Bree Cackler (Travis) Gensler. He is also survived by an uncle, Bob (Sandy)Paschall, Shiloh, IL, and a number of cousins, aunts and uncles. Randy was a retired high school history teacher in the Henry County School System and a former County Commissioner.
