Jane Chenoweth, age 82 of Paris, TN, passed away Friday October 28, 2016 in Paris, TN. Funeral service 2:00PM Monday, October 31, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Martin of First United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Paul Charles, Bill Neese, Mike Mann, Todd Birkey, Randall Perkins, Curtis Jones and Bobby Travillion. Visitation 11:00AM Monday until service time at 2:00PM. She was born December 22, 1933 in Paris, TN to the late Johnnie and Mary Ruth Neese Chenoweth. Survived by an uncle: Robert (Janice) Chenoweth, Springville, TN; cousins: Priscilla (Jimmy) Gilbreth, David "Butch" (Debbie) Neese, Janice (Paul) Charles, Patsy Walker, JoAnn Filbert, Kathy Kelly; special friend and caregiver: Nellie Williams; companion: Gigi Chenoweth and a wealth of wonderful friends. Preceded by her sister: Julia "Judy" Chenoweth, August 1, 2014 and aunt: Annette Bennett. Jane was a graduate of Grove High School and Tolers Business College. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Paris. She worked and retired from the Board of Public Utilities in Paris with over 20 years of service and for the State of Tennessee for 10 years.
