Ms. Jannene Britt Travis, age 73, of Buchanan, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at her daughter's residence. Her body is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Jannene Travis was born on August 23, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clarence Lamaurr Britt, Sr. and the late Sue Keel Britt. She is survived by her daughter: Sabrina (Roger) Parrish of Buchanan; her two sisters: Rhiannon (Steve) Granger of Florida and Scherrie Robertson of Kirksey, Kentucky; grandchildren: Joshua (fianc Amanda Bates) Mathis, Jamie (Cynthia) Parrish, Katrina (Joy Slaton) Mathis, Michael Parrish, Austin (Taylor Inman) Mathis, Jeffery (Brenna) Parrish, and Lee (Cayce) Mathis; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Jannene is preceded in death by her son: Sonny Britt and her brother: Billy Ray Travis, Jr. Mrs. Travis was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren and was known to play video games with them.
