Jason Cheek, age 36 of Paris, TN passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens of Sulphur Well Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Wright Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Scott Wells, Barry Tipton, Kevin Weaver, Dylan Reynolds, Brian Wallace, John "Little Johnny" Stiles and Joshua Gallimore. April Tipton will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation 11:00AM Sunday until service time. He was born January 2, 1980 in Paris, TN to Joe Daniel "Danny" Cheek, he preceded March 22, 2014 and Becky Cuthbertson Cheek, Springville, TN. Survived by his twin sister: Rachel (Scott) Wells, Nashville, TN; niece: Jessica Lee Wells; nephew: James Daniel Wells and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was in the U.S. Army. He served in the Iraq war with the 1st Calvary. His service in Iraq coincided with his father, Danny Cheek and his close friend Barry Tipton. SERVICES Funeral Service
