Jerry Bierly, age 77 of Henry, TN passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral service 12:00PM Tuesday November 3, 2015 at New Life Baptist Church in Henry, TN with Ryan Anderson, Dale Joyner and Joe Collins officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Brance Bierly, Robert Bierly, Adam Vogl, Tony Gallimore, Alan Mustain and Hayden Adams. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00PM Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 10:00AM Tuesday at New Life Baptist Church. He was born November 12, 1937 in Walkerton, IN to the late Benjamin and Marguite Crick Bierly. On February 14, 1989 he married Janice West Bierly, she survives, Henry, TN. Survived by daughters: Mary (Adam) Vogl, Henry, TN, Robyn Phipps, Sophia, WV, Candace Knack, Kalamazoo, MI; sons: Robert (Jessi) Bierly, Halls, TN, Paul (Rachael) Bierly, O'Fallon, IL, David (Tabitha) Bierly, O'Fallon, IL; sisters: Judith Canada, Lucerne, IN, Bonita (Richard) Tracy, Lake Butler, FL; brothers: Harold bierly, Walkerton, IN, Ted (Sonja) Bierly, Walkerton, IN; twelve grandchildren survive and one preceded. Jerry worked 26 years for Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris, TN and Watervalley, MS and also worked for U.S. Tool and Guage formerly of Paris. He enjoyed music and played with the Praise Band of New Life Baptist Church. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying.
