On December 8, 1971 he married Myrtle Elizabeth Whitehead Howard, she preceded January 3, 2002. Survived by a son: Russell (Rhonda) Howard, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Dustin Lee Howard, AZ, Kayla Dotson, Jessica Underwood, both of Buchanan, TN, Randall and Michael Earheart, both of Dover, TN; great-grandchildren: seven; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a sister Leena Vincent. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.
