He was born in Paris to the late Leland Lee and Ramona Penick Palmer. On September 12, 1981 he married Lisa Valentine Palmer, she survives in Buchanan. Survived by sisters: Carol Wilke, Gilbertsville, KY, Patsy Palmer and (Mark Widmer), Princeton, NJ; mother-in-law: Judy Valentine, New Concord, KY; nieces: Christy Hollingsworth (Ron) Langhans, Fredericksburg, VA, Rachael Wilke (David) Lewis, Mt. Juliet, TN and a nephew: Kevin Hollingsworth, Benton, KY. Preceded by a sister: Linda Palmer.
