Jettie Fay McClure Hendrix, age 77 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Arnold, former pastor of Johnsons Chapel United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2019 and after 9:00 AM Friday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Michael Hendrix, Mark McClure, Mark Hendrix, Matt Goetz, Dale Hastings, and Mark "Bama" Boutwell. Jettie Fay McClure Hendrix was born July 26, 1941 in Como, Tennessee to the late Linzy McClure and the late Bertha Parker McClure. On September 21, 1957 she married Joe R. Hendrix and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2017. Ms. Hendrix is survived by two daughters: Anita (Russell) Rogers and Renae (Bryant) Peale both of Paris, TN; three sons: Chris (Brenda) Hendrix of Puryear, TN and Randy Hendrix and Paul (Amanda) Hendrix both of Paris, TN; two brothers: James Thomas McClure of Como, TN and Robert Earl (Pat) McClure of Paris, TN; eleven grandchildren: Michael (Jaime) Hendrix, Amanda (Alan) Paschall, Bridget Hendrix, Mark (Terri Lynn) Hendrix, Julia Hendrix, Emily Hendrix, Morgan (Justin) Bruce, Madison (David) Barnhill, Adam Rogers, Andrew Peale, and Levi Peale and six great grandchildren: Sophie Hendrix, Beth Hendrix, Allie Paschall, Addie Paschall, A.J. Paschall, and Caroline Bruce. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Hendrix was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Lowery; and one brother, Howard Edward McClure. Jettie was an active member of Johnsons Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as church superintendent and adult Sunday School Teacher for many years. She loved her God, her family and her church family dearly.
