Jo Ann Jackson, age 85 of Springville, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at AHC of Paris. Her memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Springville Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Sanders and Bro. Brian Parsons officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Berkley, Kentucky between her children. Jo Ann Jackson was born July 9, 1935 in Hickman County, Kentucky to the late George Henley and the late Gertie Maxey Pyle. She was formerly married to the late G.B. Carter and the late Harry Daniels. On August 8, 1993 she married McSwain Jackson and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2012. Ms. Jackson is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Stanley Hooper) Doede of McKenzie, TN; one son, Barry (Ginny) Jackson of Dickson, TN; three grandchildren: Melissa (Josh) Lassiter, Brandon (Amanda) Lamb and Alex Jackson; five great grandchildren: Gentrey Lassiter, Ramsey Lassiter, Bradley Lamb, Tanner Lamb and Lila Mae Lamb; and nieces & nephews: Vicki & Dennis Gourley, Bill & Sherri Hall, Susie & Less Hollenbeck, Patty & Bryan Kurily, Bob & Germaine Steakley and Gary & Twila King. Besides her parents and husbands, Jo Ann was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Jean Hudson; a son, Frank Richard "Ricky" Carter; two grandchildren: Michael Hudson and Cory Hudson; two sisters: Hazel King and Jeanne Carter; and one brother, James Steakley. Jo Ann was a member of Springville Baptist Church and she love to fish.
