Joan Cherry Jones

Joan Jones, age 80, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Sunday, March 7, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 101 East Blythe St, Paris, TN. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday evening March 6, 2010 at First United Methodist Church from 4-8 pm. Ms. Jones is survived by her husband Mr. Jack Rice Jones. They married on May 23, 1952. She is also survived by daughters Cherry Jones, New York City, NY, Susan Jones, Paris, TN; cousins Helen Putnam, Memphis, TN, Sherry (Lee) Girnspan, Memphis, TN, Charlotte (Don) Myers, Jackson, MS, Claire Myers, Jackson, MS; sister-in-law Doris Bicknell, Memphis, TN; nieces Summer and Holly Bicknell, Durham, NC; and special care taker and friend Angela Phifer. Memorials may be made to: Plus Endowment, Boys and Girls Club of Paris, or The First United Methodist Church of Paris.
