Funeral service 1:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Michael Key officiating, burial will follow at Bevil Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Cody Tate, Jeremiah Clayton, Chris Judd, James Taylor, Aaron Key, Johnny Taylor, Bobby Coe and Jamie Coe. Honorary pallbearers will be Kamron Howard, Zaviar Howard and the staff at Paris Health Care Center. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday and after 10:00AM Saturday. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late Sylvester Luther Coe and Evelyn Marie Choate Coe. On June 23, 1978 she married Gerald Clayton, he survives in Paris. Survived by a daughter: Angela Tate, Paris; sister: Joyce Marie Morrison, Murray, KY; brother: Jackie Coe, Paris; grandchildren: Allison Nicole Tate, Cody Tate, Kamron Howard and Zaviar Howard; sister-in-law: Donna (Tommy) Judd, Paris; brother-in-law: Tommy Clayton, Paris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a sister: Linda Taylor and a brother: Johnny Luther Coe. Joanie was a CNA for 35 years. She loved to bake, shop, camp and loved her grandchildren.
