Mr. Joe Conger age 91, of Paris, TN, passed away Sunday April 17, 2016 at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday April, 18. A private family graveside service will also be held on Monday. Mr. Conger was born September 27, 1924 in Parsons, TN to the late Elzie Donald Conger and Orpha Marie Berry Conger. Mr. Conger is survived by wife Betty Conger of Paris, TN, who he married on June 9, 1952. He is also survived by one son, Danny (P.J.) Conger, of Paris, TN; grandchildren; Harmony Conger, Hope Conger, Shea Kent, Seth Kent; sister, Helen Sanders of Paris, TN; brother, Houston (Janet) Conger of Springville, TN. Mr. Conger was preceded in death by brothers, Charles R. Conger and Bill Conger. Mr. Joe Conger was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII in Japan. Joe was a very private person who loved dogs, coon hunting and was a very talented musician. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church of Christ of the donor's choice. SERVICES
