Joe L Glisson

Funeral services for Mr. Joe L. Glisson, age 83, of Henry, Tn., will be conducted on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery near Como., TN. Visitation will be on Friday at McEvoys from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.. and after 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday. Joe was married on January 23, 1957 to Myrtle McPeak who precedes him. Mr. Glisson is survived by son; Jason (Debra) Glisson, Henry, TN, brother-in-law; Duffy Martin, nephew; Tim Glisson, niece; Rhonda Whitehead, great nephew; Lee (Lisa) Whitehead, Jeff Whitehead, great-great nephew; Collin Whitehead, grandchildren; Brian Crabtree, Angie Sinis, and Tracy Odachowski. Mr. Glisson was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of Henry Church of Christ. A retired dairy and hog farmer from the Palastine Community he was a Mason and a Master Mason.
