Joe Tracy McFadden, age 65, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 in Paris. His body is to be cremated and a Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home for Joe and his mother Verdie Mae with Bro. Randy Kuykendall officiating. Visitation for Joe and Verdie Mae is scheduled on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Joe was born December 1, 1954 in Paris to the late William Thomas McFadden and the late Verdie Mae Tarkington McFadden Gutherie. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Dale McFadden of Holly Springs, Mississippi. Besides his parents, Joe is also preceded in death by his brother Gary Dan McFadden. Joe worked several years at McCartney Produce as a truck driver before retiring. Joe's mother, Verdie Mae McFadden Guthrie, age 92, passed away on March 31, 2020 in Lady Lake, Florida. Her body was cremated and her memorial service will be shared with her son on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Verdie Mae McFadden Guthrie was born August 1, 1928 in Jones Mill, Tennessee to the late Ira Lee Tarkington and the late Fluadia Odessa Bedwell Tarkington. She later married William Thomas McFadden and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Thomas Dale McFadden of Holly Springs, Mississippi; grandchildren, Michael Todd McFadden, Carlee Miranda McFadden, Ryan O'Shea McFadden, Molly McFadden Jessup, and Gary Dan McFadden, Jr.; and10 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Guthrie was preceded in death by her son, Gary Dan McFadden. Son, Joe died on Friday, November 13, 2020.
