Funeral service 2:00 PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Burney, Temple Baptist Church and Alex Bomar officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Charlie Winters, Jack Winters, John Winters, Jacky Crouch, Johnny Whitworth, Roy Wright, Jimmy Wilson will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday and after 12:00 Noon Sunday. He was born in Paris to the late John H. and Mary Elexie Workman Trotter. On June 11, 1966 he married Brenda Joyce Winters Trotter, she survives in Paris. Survived by daughters: Brenda Hill, Paris, TN, Linda (Stacy) Clark, Cottage Grove, Jennifer (fiance' Jimmy Hamilton) Trotter, Paris, TN; son: Danny Trotter, Paris; sisters: Catheryn (Cully) Cobb, Nashville, Betty Gannon, Smyrna; brothers: Tommy (Rita) Trotter, Mapleton, KS; grandchildren: Joey (Courtney) Trotter, Tiffany Clark, Samantha Clark, Annaleise Trotter, Malia Trotter and a great-grandchild: C.J. McMillan. Preceded by two brothers: Charles and Bobby Trotter. Joe graduated from E.W. Grove High School, he retired from CSX Railroad and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
