Joel David Pennington, Sr, age 67, of Cottage Grove, TN, died Monday in a plane crash in Cottage Grove. His funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 12:00 noon Thursday. He is survived by two sons, Joel David Pennington, Jr. and Joel David Pennington, III both of Cottage Grove. His parents, James "Bill" Pennington and Louise Brisendine Pennington, preceded him in death.
