Mr. John Thomas Baxter, Sr, age 69, of Big Sandy, TN, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Manley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. His wife, Rose Bomar Baxter survives.
