John David Compton, age 51, formerly of Paris, TN, died March 10 2009 in Korea where he had lived for many years. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Memorial Cemetery, Paris. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge of service. There will be no visitation prior to the Memorial Service. He was the son of Noel H. "Cotton" Compton and Beatrice K. Hardin Compton, both preceded. He is survived by his wife, Hye Kyong, Taegu,Korea, daughter, Kimberly Compton,Taegu, Korea, sisters, Connie B. (Mike) Foster, Paris, TN, Nancy L. Staggs, Denver, CO; brother, Noel H. "Skip" (Darlene) Compton, Paris, TN; three nieces, Melissa "Missy" Compton, Puryear, Heather Lewis, Big Sandy and Shelley Trusievitz, AZ; nephew, Craig Staggs , LA.
