John V. Krezinski, Jr., age 71 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 24, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Peeveyhouse officiating. Cremation will follow services. Named as honorary pallbearers are, J.J. Krezinski, Chad Cox, Andy Clark, Mike Potete, Monte Belew, Damon Lowe, Adam Jenkins, Steve Page, Steve Dean, Donald Parrish and the rest of the Henry County Sheriffs Department. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and again on Sunday after 12:00 P.M. until time of service. John V. Krezinski, Jr. was born August 18, 1949 in Racine, Wisconsin to the late John V. Krezinski, Sr. and the late Blanche Thompson Dahlstrom. He married Sarah Sue Lindsey Krezinski on June 17, 1967 (53 years) and she survives in Paris, TN. John is also survived by his sons, James (Revita) Krezinski and John Michael (Sharon) Krezinski, all of Paris; by his grandchildren, Kristy Milton, Nikki Parham, Katarina Krezinski, Nikita Krezinski, Dakota Krezinski, Danielle Krezinski (fiance` Brady Bratton), J.J. Krezinski, Ashley (Joe) Jackson and Cody Walker; also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary McCrae of Bristol, WI, June Shore of Wisconsin, Judith Krezinski of New Jersey, Elizabeth Dahlstrom of Racine, Wisconsin and Kathy Krezinski; brother, Raymond Dahlstrom of Wisconsin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides his parents, John is also preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Leona Krezinski Parham and by brothers, Phillip Dahlstrom and James Krezinski. Mr. Krezinski was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 38 years. He served 27 years on the Henry County Sheriffs Department, served as a Constable for 20 years; several years as Chief of Oakland Fire Department; school bus mechanic for 30 years; also as a member of the drug task force. He also worked security for the Henry County High School football and basketball games for many years; was very active with the Henry County Sheriffs Dept. Animal Shelter. John was well known as a family man and devoted husband who loved spending time with his family.
