Mr. John Monroe Russell, age 81, Buchanan,TN, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Plumley Rehabilitation Center in Paris. His funeral will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 12:00 noon Wednesday. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Fitzhugh Russell. He is also survived by daughter, Kim Russell, Nashville, TN, son, Monte Russell, Paris, TN and preceded by sister, Elizabeth Godwin. Family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the the Sulphur Well Church of Christ Building Fund.
