John R. Salmon of Puryear, TN passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Paris Healthcare & Rehab. No visitation is scheduled. His body will be cremated and a private service will be scheduled at a later date. Mr. Salmon was born February 18, 1935 in Hazel, Kentucky to the late Martin C. Salmon and the late Thelma M. Curd Salmon. On October 10, 1956 he married Marlene J. McCormick who preceded him in death on February 13, 2012. John R. Salmon is survived by two sons, Kenneth A. Salmon of Puryear, TN and Michael F. (Tina) Salmon of Paris, TN; one sister, Melanie (John) Hebb of Bartow, FL; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joanne Salmon; one son, Donald Ray Salmon; and one sister, Jane Anne Rayburn.
