There will be a graveside memorial service 10:00 AM Saturday July 10, 2010 at Johnson Chapel Cemetery Paris, TN. He is survived by a sister; Catherine Casto, Sandyville, West Virginia, nephew; Tommy Nutter, Sandyville, West Virginia, nieces; Leann Charmichael, Ravenswood, West Virginia, Jo Miller, Vito, Ohio. Preceded by his wife of 38 years, Ann Davis Shawhan, parents; Burl Bedford and Verona Endell Potter Shawhan. He was a lay speaker for The Assembly of God Church, navy veteran, retired diesel mechanic for the Overnite Trucking Company and enjoyed fishing.
