John H. Teem, age 86, of Buchanan, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and no services are scheduled. John Henry Teem was born July 16, 1934 in Okemah, Oklahoma to the late Peter M. Teem and the late Hattie D. Crain Teem. He is survived by his daughters, Naomi Weis of Buchanan and Rebecca (Eber) Cory of New Concord, Kentucky; sons, John H. (Glenda) Teem, Jr. of Buchanan and Steve (Karen) Teem of Paris; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Jewel Johnson and Sally Gowens, both of California; brothers, Steve Teem of Missouri and Clifford Teem of California; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Besides his parents, John is also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Barnes and brother, Richard Teem. Mr. Teem was a member of Church of God Seventh Day. He was also an avid hunter.
