Joy Ross Bucy, age 83 of Routon, TN passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service will be graveside at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Foundry Hill Community of Christ Cemetery with Tom Andrews and Joe Andrews officiating. Burial will follow and there will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service. Joy Ross Bucy was born February 19, 1938, in Henry County, TN to the late Homer Ross and the late Georgia Bennett Ross. On October 26, 1962, she married Lyle Bucy and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2021. Joy is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Wade of Paris, TN; two sons: Jeff (Crickett) Bucy and Chris Bucy, all of Paris, TN; and grandchildren, Bella Bucy and Ava Bucy. Besides her parents and husband, Joy was also preceded in death by her sister, LaVon Davis; and her half-brother, Glendale Ross. Joy was a member of the Community of Christ at Foundry Hill. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her church family.
