Joyce Delphine Cook

Funeral Service for Mrs. Cook will be Saturday March 28, 2009, 11:00 A.M. McEvoy Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, visitation 3:00 to 7:00 Friday and after 9:00 Saturday. Joyce is survived by her husband David Noble Cook, daughter; Deborah (Marshall) Kerr, Mt. Juliet, TN, sons; David Allan (Sherry) Cook, Mansfield, TN and Douglas James (Jennifer) Cook, Martin, TN, grandchildren; William Harper Cook and Nancy Ellen Cook both of Memphis, preceded by her parents; Harper and Grace Trafford McGirr. A Registered Nurse and member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Henry County Medical Center, moving from the Detroit area to Paris in 1972. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she worked in the kitchen for 20 years on Wednesday evening and was a volunteer worker with the monthly health clinic there at the church.
