Karen "KK" King, age 54 of Cottage Grove, TN passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at her residence. There will be a celebration of life at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021, for her and her husband Matt King who passed away on June 29, 2021. The celebration of life will be at Cottage Grove Baptist Church, 6860 Church Street, Cottage Grove, TN 38224. Karen King was born September 16, 1966, in Hartford, CT to Carlos Alvin (Sheila) Casey of Waynesboro, TN, and the late Delores Leduke Casey. On July 21, 1984, she married Matt King and he passed away on June 29, 2021. Karen worked for over thirty years with Dana Corporation and she enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. She was a loving and caring person that never missed an opportunity to help others. "KK" loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her father, Karen is also survived by a son, Bobby (Shannon) Casey of Cottage Grove, TN; two sisters: Dolores (Wildman) Starnes of Cottage Grove, TN and Penny Casey of Waynesboro, TN; a sister-in-law, Laura (Jimmy) Denham of Lexington, TN; three grandchildren; four nephews; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Besides her mother, Karen was also preceded in death by a sister, Charline Casey.
