Karen Klopfenstein

Karen Klopfenstein, age 82 of Henry, TN passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at her residence. Her funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 28th at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Tammy Blankenship of United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday and after 10:00 am on Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Karen Klopfenstein was born April 13, 1942, in Cygnet, OH to the late Ferd & Vesta Burden Gross. On September 17, 1960, she married Marvin Klopfenstein, and he survives in Henry, TN. Karen was a dispatcher with the City of Paris, Henry Co. Sheriffs Dept., Weakley Co. Sheriffs Dept., and Murray State Campus Police. She was a member of Palestine UMC. In addition to her husband, Karen is also survived by daughter, Leah Klopfenstein of Henry; sons: Greg (Mary) Klopfenstein of McKenzie, TN, and Nathan Klopfenstein (Christi Snow) of Princeton, KY; grandchildren: Chris (Nikki) Klopfenstein, Lexy Veliz, and Abigail (Blake) Garner; great-grandchildren: Chloe & Claire Veliz; Oscar & Oliver Garner; and Eva Kay Klopfenstein; sister-in-law, Georgia Gross of Arcanum, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Rotroff, and brother, Ronald Gross. Pallbearers for Mrs. Klopfenstein will be Chris Klopfenstein, Kurt Rotroff, J-Michael French, Henry Tharpe, Gary Vandiver, & Damon Lowe.
