Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday February 21, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary Collier officiating. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Saturday February 20, 2016 and after 12:00 Noon Sunday until service time. She was born February 21, 1947 in Springfield, IL to the late John and Mary Catherine Basso Chestnut. On September 10, 1964 she married Jerald B. Brown, he survives, Paris, TN. Survived by a daughter: Kathy (Tom) Parker, Paris, TN; son: Jerry (Penny) Brown, Nashville, TN; sister: Rosemary (Kenneth) Brown, Paris, TN; brother: Tom (Kim) Chestnut, Ann Arbor, MI; grandchild: Kevin Smith, Orlando, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a daughter: Karen Smith, 2009; brothers: Mike Chestnut, Joe Chestnut and a grandchild: Jennifer Reagan. Kay was a loving wife, mother and granny who loved to fish and play cards.
