Kenneth W. "Ken" Russell, age 74 of Paris, TN, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Henry County Medical Center, Paris, TN. Funeral service 3:00PM Sunday, November 27, 2016 at East Wood Church of Christ with Tommy Russell, Phillip Brown, Corey Sawyers and Roger Banks officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation after 2:00PM Sunday until service time at East Wood Church of Christ. Named as pallbearers are Kenny Paschall, Ronnie Adkerson, Jon Piskos, Ed Reagor, Becky Russell Blunkall, Tony Gay, Larry Rayburn and Rommie Wynn. Named as honorary pallbearers are Gary Ross, Percy Langford, Jodie McCulloch, Clyde Murphy, Howard Hewgley, Frankie McPeak, Jerry York. He was born January 17, 1942 in Murfreesboro, TN to the late C.W. and Miralee Wright Russell. On July 11, 1964 he married Lydia Chilcutt Russell, she survives Paris, TN. Survived by a daughter: Leigh Ann Russell, Paris, TN; son: Bryan W. Russell, Paris, TN; sisters: Becky Russell (Ernie) Blunkall, Hendersonville, TN, Jennie Russell (Bill) Green, Lebanon, TN; brother: Tommy (Joy) Russell, Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren: Hailee Bomar and Hannah Russell, both of Paris, TN; special friend and caregiver: Tony Gay, Paris, TN. Mr. Russell was a 1964 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he played on the Blue Raiders baseball team. He was a longtime member of East Wood Church of Christ and was the former owner and operator of Morgan Furniture company for many years. Ken was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing and was a beloved baseball coach in Paris and whos little league team won the state championship in 1986.
