Kenneth Harold Valentine, age 74 of Paris, TN passed away at his residence Monday January 4, 2016. Funeral Service 12:00PM Saturday January 9, 2016 at Buchanan United Methodist Church with David Allen Jackson officiating, burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer: Jimmy Lee Valentine. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation after 11:00AM Saturday at Buchanan United Methodist Church. He was born in Puryear, TN to the late L.T. "Pete" and Bernice Hart Valentine. On May 2, 1952 he married Annetta Adams Valentine, she preceded March 23, 2006. Survived by a daughter: Jeanine (Keith) Rogers, Buchanan, TN; sons: Harold Wallace "Hal" (Lavinia) Valentine, Italy, Gregory Adams Valentine, KY; sisters: Betty Jo (Billy Wayne) Smith, Puryear, TN, Mildred Moore, Paris, TN, Patricia Ann Thomas, Jackson, TN; brothers: Barney (Brenda) Valentine, Puryear, TN, Jimmy Lee Valentine, Puryear, TN, Frank (Charlene) Valentine, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Adam Valentine, Joshua Valentine, Shandus Bree Valentine, Andrew Valentine, Nathan Joseph Krizmanich, II; great-grandchildren: Maggie and Jame Parrish. Kenneth was a farmer in the Buchanan community for a number of years. He worked at Holley Carburetor of Paris until it closed and worked as a truck driver with MCH until retiring.
