E.M.T. and Firefighter, Kenny Knobbs, age 58 of Millington, TN died Saturday May 16, 2015 at his residence. His funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday May 23, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gerald Prior of New Life Community Church of Joelton, TN officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers for Mr. Knobbs will be Bill McKee, Clint Grant, Ronnie Farmer, James Wyatt and Kevin Hutson. Visitation 10:00AM Saturday until time of service. He was born in Springfield, IL to the late Kenneth William Knobbs and Dorothy Mae Gray Harbauer. On April 18, 1981 he married Sherry Powell Knobbs, she survives, Millington. Survived by a son: Adam Knobbs, Millington; half-sisters: Sharon (Kevin) Johnson, Mulberry Grove, IL Betty Atkinson, New Burlin, IL, Kathleen (Tom) Dorch, Yorba Linda, CA; half-brothers: Jim (Loraine) Davis, Staten Island, NY, John Davis, Springfield, IL and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a half-sister: Anabelle Lovell; twin brother in infancy: Kenton William Knobbs; half-brothers: William Knobbs and Richard Davis. Kenny was in the United States Marines for eight years.
