Kim Stevenson, age 63 of Buchanan, TN passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at her sons residence. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 13th at McEvoy Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating. Visitation with the family will be at McEvoy Funeral Home after 11:00 am Tuesday, August 13th before the service at 1:00. Kim Stevenson was born November 3, 1960, in Royal Oak, MI to Marie Harding of Royal Oak, MI, and the late Ralph Williams. On April 5, 1989, she married David Stevenson, and he preceded her in death on October 2, 2021. Kim was the owner/operator of Spankys restaurant in Puryear. Kim is survived by four sons: Richard Kovacs of Shelbyville, TN, Kevin (Jessica) Kovacs of Colorado Springs, CO, Chris Kovacs of Paducah, KY, and Michael Kovacs of Alma, GA; three sisters: Pam Wolschon of Crossville, TN, Kara Rasmussen of Royal Oak, MI, and Leisa (Lee) Whitehead of Puryear, TN; four brothers: Ralph L. (Sheila) Williams of Michigan, Buron "Scooter" Williams of Buchanan, TN, Keith Williams of Puryear, TN, and Van (Diana) Williams of Springville, TN; nine grandchildren: Kaytlyn Kovacs (Peyton Moreland), Kaleb (Audrey) Kovacs, Hannah Fields, Matthew Kovacs, Shane Kovacs, Hunter Cannon, Ryleigh Kovacs, Heidi Beane, and Michael Kovacs II; four great-grandchildren: Emerleigh & Easton Ellis and Elliot & Willow Kovacs; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
