Mr. Larry Elliott Carter age 67, of Dyersburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home Monday, July 6 at 11 A.M. with visitation from 9 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery. A cousin, John McDougal will officiate. Mr. Carter was born on November 10, 1947 to the late Herman E. Carter and Johnnie Frensley Carter. Mr. Carter is survived by daughter Christy Carter (Robert) Callison of Henry, TN; son Jeff (Peggy) Carter of Huntingdon TN; sister Brenda Carter of Paris TN; grandchildren Payton Callison, Preston Carter, Kennedy Carter, Landon Carter. He is also survived by an aunt: Athalie Frensley, uncle: Dorris Allison and several Frensley cousins. Mr. Carter loved to play guitar and sing.
