Larry Harris, age 68 of Springville, TN passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his residence. His celebration of life will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 23, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Larry Harris was born April 30, 1953 in Medina, Tennessee to the late Hobert John Harris and the late Verdie Mae Nichols Harris. On September 28, 2008 he married Vivian Arnold Harris and she survives in Springville, TN. Larry was a United States Veteran serving 21 years in the Army. He formerly worked at Kirk's Hardware Store at Paris Landing. In addition to his wife, Larry is also survived by four daughters: twins, Terre Moore (Lawrence Morrison) and Sherre Harris, both of Salem, AL, and Dallas (Donald) Williams and Aundrea (Terrence) Carter, both of Union City, TN; one son, Brad (Jodie) Harris of Salem, AL; one brother, Jerry Harris of Oklahoma City, OK; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Besides his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by seven sisters: Louise Gulledge, Faye Harris, Annie Mae Golden, Clara Mae Harris, Laucile Harris, Joyce Marie Harris and Martha Ollene Chandler; and seven brothers: Paul Harris, James Edward Harris, Elvis Harris, John Harris, Kenneth Harris, Virgil Harris and Roy Townsend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Mr. Larry Harris to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
