Larry Warf, age 74, of the Palestine Community, Henry, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his residence. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Lee, Brent Dial and Bill Lutz officiating. A graveside service will also follow at 3:30 P.M. in Memorial Gardens of Covington, Tennessee with burial to follow. Named as pallbearers are Brent Dial, Reuben Swarey, Doug Brockman, T.J. Frey, David Hayes, and Bill Lutz; honorary pallbearer, Christian Hayes. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy Funeral Home on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Milton Larry Warf was born November 23, 1946 in Covington, Tennessee to the late Mack Warf and the late Mary Frances Cranford Warf. He married Cathy Jean Jones Warf on August 11, 1967 and she survives in Henry. He is also survived by daughter, Jennifer Hayes of Paris; grandchildren, Lindsay (T.J.) Frey, Evie Leigh Hayes and Christian Parker Hayes; great grandchild, Lyza Leigh Gallimore; sister, Donna (Mike) Cochran of Covington; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Leigh Warf; sister, Karen Morris; and brothers, Mack Warf, Jr. and Keith Warf. Mr. Warf was a Baptist by faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. Larry worked and retired from Paris Building Supply with 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran from 1968 to 2007, serving 2 years in Iraq. He was a kind friend to many and enjoyed helping others in every way he could.
