Lawrence "Scotty" Hamilton, age 80 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his residence. A private family celebration of life will be planned and burial will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Scotty Hamilton was born November 4, 1942 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Lawrence F. Hamilton and the late Mary E. Pierce Hamilton. He is survived by his sister, Gail Hamilton Watkins of Paris; nephews, Kevin (Shanna) Watkins and Darren (Nicki) Watkins all of Paris; and by great nephews, Jacob Watkins, Alec Watkins, and Kyle Watkins. Mr. Hamilton was a graduate of E.W. Grove High School where he was an active athlete, playing both football and basketball. Scotty was an avid New York Yankees and TN Vols fan.
