There will be a Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. Nichols at 2:00 PM Tuesday July 5th at North union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 78 Preacher Doland Road, Kenton, TN with Rev. Paul McAdoo, Antioch United Methodist Church, Springville, TN, officiating, there will be no visitation prior to the service. He was formerly married to Myra Wilson Nichols June 1, 1942, she preceded October 6, 1996. Married Jean Nichols February 18, 1983 and she preceded September 14, 2010. Survived by sons; Robert L. "Bob" (Martha Carole) Nichols, Union City, TN, Ralph E. (Peggy) Nichols, Kenton, TN, grandchildren; Brent Nichols, Sally Nichols King, Dan Nichols, great-grandchildren; Katie, Lillian and Martha Nichols, Devin Cranford, Rebecca King and Andrew Miller. Preceded by his parents; Ruben and Mary Effie McKinnon Nichols, daughter; Mary Eleanor Nichols December 29, 1992, brothers; Wright, Chester and Lester Nichols and a granddaughter; Becky Nichols Miller May 1, 2006. Mr. Nichols was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. A Veteran of WWII Army Air Corps and a retired Civil Engineer.
