Funeral service for Mrs. Lena Milam will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday. Burail will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Henry, TN. Pastor Scott Weber will officate. Mrs. Milam was born on December 21, 1920 in Ashley County, Arkansas to the late Sims Hudson and Clara Bell Hudson, both preceded. She married Clarence G. Milam on April 23, 1977, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1983. Mrs. Milam is survived by three daughters: Nancy (Al) Tortorich of Abita Springs, LA; Elizabeth Stoney of Key Stone Heights, FL; Edith (Larry) Harding of Dover, TN. Six sons: John Baldwin of Fresno, California; Jim (Marian) Gilbert of Saint Francisville, LA; Travis (Vicki) Gilbert of Lindale, TX; Billy Gilbert of Stockbridge, GA; Tommy Gilbert of Paris, TN; Buryl (Mary) Gilbert of Jackson, MS. Three step-sons: Larry Milam of California; Gary (Joan) Milam of Springville, TN; Steve (Dianne) Milam of Henry, TN. Three sisters: Frannie Shults and Mabel Allred of Mesa, AZ; Eunice Sherman of Bastrop, LA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Milam was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruby Larkin and Jocye Turnbow. Also three brothers: Richard, G.W. and Henry Hudson. Mrs. Lena Milam was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Paris where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary. She was also a sitter with the sick.
