Funeral service 2:00 PM Saturday at the Russwood Baptist Church in Springville with Bro. Kenneth Basham officiating, burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Buchanan. Pallbearers will be Woody Case, Hunter Moore, Aaron Sowell, Dallas Barfield, Gary Thompson and Thomas Rippie. Visitation Saturday 11:00 AM until service at Russwood Baptist Church. She was born in Humboldt to the late Arthur Ebert and Viola Jaggers Sowell. On October 7, 1989 she married Donald A. Raines, he preceded June 9, 1999. Survived by daughters: Debra (Gary) Thompson, Golconda, IL, Frances Lawrence, Buchanan, TN; son Billy Case, Paris; half sister: Ozell Himes, Ripley, TN; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; favorite cousins: Rebecca Terry and Elizabeth Williams; favorite friends Nell and Thomas Gateley. Preceded by a daughter Valerie Case; brother: Murray Sowell and a half brother: Lloyd Sowell. Mrs. Raines was a member of the Russwood Baptist Church. She was an LPN and had worked at Humboldt Nursing Home (5yrs), Home Health Care, Inc. (11yrs), Extended Care (3yrs) and at Henry County Home Health.
