Mr. Sherwood was born in Mixie, TN to the late Levi and Pearl Lowry Sherwood. On July 13, 1939 he married Donna Rogers Sherwood, she preceded him in death on February 25, 2008. Survived by daughters: Jean (Larry) Benton, Paris, TN and Jennifer (Gary) Willoughby, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Patty (Dan) Hurst, Knoxville, TN, Tammy (Ed) Williams, Dickson, TN and Mike(Laura) Benton, Nashville, TN; great grandchildren: Sarah and Josh Hurst. He was a longtime employee with Carter's Sales and Service and later ran a repair shop for depth finders and trolling motors. He was also a photographer, pilot, amateur radio operator, fisherman and hunter.
