Leroy Smith,age 83, Paris, TN, died Monday at Henry County Medical Center Emergency Room. His funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Sue Newell Storey Smith, they were married February 19, 2005. He was preceded by his wife, Marcie Wimberley Smith, they were married November 2, 1946 and she preceded March 2, 2000. He is also survived by two step daughters, Peggy Chapnick, Paris, TN, Diana Nix, LaFayette, Al; two sons, Danny Smith and Gary Smith,both of Paris, TN and step-son, Robert Lee Storey, Jr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A step-son, Daniel Storey, preceded in February 2006. Sisters - Lurleen Evans, preceded, Martha Baker, Paris, TN, Jessie Young, TX, Alice Bucy, Paris, TN, brothers, J. L. and Eugene Smith, both preceded, Troy and Billy Ray Smith, Paris, TN and Joe Frankie Smith, Louisville, KY. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and eight step-great grandhildren.
