Funeral service for Leroy will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 17th at Quinn Chapel AME Church with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery, visitation 11:00 until service time at the church. Survived by nieces; Evonne Martin and Elise Williams, nephews; Curtis Ray, Joe Ray, Ernest Williams, Jr. and Tony Williams. Preceded by his parents A.G. Tharpe and Emma Williams, sister Ora Lee Ray and a brother Ernest Williams. He was a self employed landscape worker.
