Leslie Garrett

Leslie Garrett, age 70, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at his residence. His body is to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Garrett was born on November 25, 1955, in Waverly, TN, to the late Robert “Bob” Garrett and Betty Gutherie Garrett. He is survived by daughters, Tiffany Garrett of Cottage Grove and Christie Lamb of Humboldt; son, Christopher Garrett of Iowa; brother, David (Michele) Garrett of McKenzie; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones, Kylie Natividad, and Alissa Garrett; great-grandchildren, Lillian Hutson, Holden Rudolph, Zaire Tanner, and Ariya Tanner.

Leslie is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Garrett (2026); and by his brothers, Mike and Ricky Garrett.

Mr. Garrett was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and woodworking. Leslie was known to be a hard worker who loved his family.
