Mrs. Letitia "Tish" Watson Covington of Paris, TN passed away Sunday, December 17, 2014. Her Funeral will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN. Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 16 and after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Named as pallbearers are Ed Brazelton, Pat Neighbors, Johnny Etheridge, Kenny Paschall, Barry McIntosh and Jay Travis. Mrs. Covington was born on September 13, 1917 to the late "Scrap" Watson and Ida Fay Timberlake Watson. On March 24, 1946 she married Richard Samuel Covington who preceded on September 1, 1977. She is survived by daughter: Elizabeth Fay Covington of Paris, TN; son: James L. (Glendora A.) Covington of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren: James Richard (Johanna) Covington; step-grandchildren: Rusty Beck, Richard Beck and Debbie Dean White; great-grandchild: Zoey Mae Covington. Mrs. Covington is preceded by step-son: Beverly Dean; three sisters and three brothers. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Paris, TN where she was a member of the Marthas, The Morning Circle, was a former Vacation Bible School teacher, Sunday School teacher and youth leader. Tish was a loving mother and grandmother and always did for others before herself. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
