Funeral service 12:00Noon Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Robby Moore, Lighthouse Ministries officiating, burial will follow at Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Wednesday and after 9:00AM Thursday until service time. She was born in Murray, KY to the late Herman and Katherine Hart Jobe. On July 14, 1973 she married Tommy Simmons, he preceded August 13, 2009. Survived by daughters: Andra (Michael) Donnawell, Paris, Lisa (Chris) Purdy, Paris, Teresa (Ed) Sands, Palmersville; brothers: Steven (Leslie) Simmons, Paris, James Simmons, McKenzie; sisters: Tresia (Tommy) Jackson, Paris, Robin (Daniel) Harris, Puryear; brother: Gary (Judy) Vaughn, Camden, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Preceded by a daughter: Judith Fuzzell; brother: Donnie Jobe and step-father: David Cox. Janie was an active member of Lighthouse Ministries in Puryear. She formerly worked at Spanky's, Celotex and Mar-Kel Lighting.
